There's Something There
is made up of The Christopoulos Brothers, Joe and George who, along with Producer Ford Colley, first performed together on stage more than 40 years ago.  George and Ford were later part of the Chicago based Folk-Rock group Pieces of Eight and recorded the first Christopoulos Brothers original  "Run & Hide" shortly before the group broke up in 1970.  The Christopoulos Brothers continued their musical careers composing more than 100 songs over the course of the next 35 years and appearing on the Rock and College touring circuit as well as in clubs throughout the country.  During this same time, Ford Colley pursued a career in  broadcasting with ABC, CBS, Westinghouse and Bonneville.  Although they were aware of each others careers during this time, there was not much interaction between Ford and the brothers until a mutual friend brought them together in late 2007.  Since then, they have re-banded as There's Something There and are currently working on their first CD together, due for release in the Fall of 2011.

George Christopoulos - (Composer / Guitar / Bass / Lead Vocals)  The Christopoulos Brothers have always said, "You can sing as many words as you want and write as many songs as you can.  But when you feel those grains of sand start slipping through your hand, Son you better take a stand, or he'll take you by the hand, and lead you through his land,  and he'll  make  you  understand, and then mark  you with  the  brand, of a man."  They  have  always known that they're  going out the same way they came in, knowing they are after so many, but ahead of a lot.  There's an angel riding their shoulders, playing tag for good and they're it.  Singing and playing and writing some more.  "There has to be more than that to life, been told many times before. But what more can there possibly be.  'Cept me lovin' you and you lovin' me."  Hope you enjoy the Music!  George@theressomethingthere.com

Joe Christopoulos - (Composer / Lead Guitar / Keyboards /  Vocals)  Joe, better known as Joe C. Songwriter, has been a poet from a very early age. In writing lyrics he has always communicated his feelings as though he was speaking to the entire world.  At the age of twelve he began putting his lyrics to music creating songs.  Though love is a common theme, awareness is also raised.  Questions are asked as seen through the eyes of a common man with common sense.
